In this activity, students are given 5 minutes to look at the picture story entitled “A Turtle’s Life
is a Diffi cult One”.

The teacher asks each student to tell or write a very short story (half a page) about what the
picture story shows and how it makes him or her feel. Students then tell or read out their
story to the class. The teacher can then lead a discussion on issues arising from the students’
interpretations of the story.
