There are more kinds of insects in the world than any other kind of animal. Many kinds of insects live in the Solomon Islands. Some of the insects found in the Solomon Islands do not live anywhere else in the world.
Some things that all insects have, including honey bees are:

- Adult insects have 6 legs
- Adult insects have compound eyes
- Most adult insects have antennae, 2 pairs of wings, and can fly.
